Hello Everyone and Happy Holidays!
In an attempt to keep my kiddos focused on learning I made up a bulletin board to help them stay on track with learning during this busy holiday season. I cut a large Christmas tree out of bulletin board paper, and programed it with circles labeled, “20 days left to learn” “19 days left to learn” etc…. Then I hung a banner over the tree saying that “The Learning Countdown to Winter Break has Begun!” I made up some ornament shape books for students to write in , and randomly starred 1 lesson in my plan book each day between Monday and winter break.
My plan is that when I get to that lesson everyday I will pick a mystery student’s name out of a can before the lesson begins, but I won’t tell my students whose name got pulled. When the lesson is completed the mystery student will be asked to write out what they learned during that lesson inside one of the ornament shape books. Before the end of the day that student and I will hang their ornament on the tree in the hallway covering up the largest of the countdown numbers. I can’t wait to begin tomorrow! If you would like to make this board with your students to get the file at my TpT store here.
Also I’m running a cyber Monday-Tuesday sale on TpT this year. Most items in my store will be 15% off.
